I recently bought this headset and the sound is amazing. There is so much detail to every sound. But when you are in a party with your friends they can hear any sound coming from your room times 10 so they complain alot. Its no problems for u but my friends say it give off lots of loud noises.

I ordered this product and it arrived three (3) days ahead of the estimated delivery date. It was VERY simple to hook-up to my 360. So much so that I really doubt it could be ANY easier! As for the "buzz" or the "humming", come on folks, this isn't a Hi-Fi stereo headphone, its a gaming headset! It is BARELY noticeable and ONLY when there is ABSOLUTELY NO NOISE coming from the game console. When you're playing, or there is ANY other noise whatsoever, you don't even hear it at all! GREAT product, good Price!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED product!!!

I have a wife and two young kids with this product i am able to play xbox at night without worrying about waking them up. I would highly recommend this to anyone that plays games/watches TV at night and worry about waking up family or neighbors. It is great and well worth the price.

Not what I was expecting. (2010-07-19)
I bought this headset for my husband because his had died the day before. It was easy to connect to our plasma with the instructions. We can hear a lot of "new" sounds that were ignored before (clear steps coming from your left/right and similar sounds on Modern Warfare 2 or world at War), and it has individual chat and game volume controls. You can even hear yourself.

A thing that may be good but sometimes for us is uncomfortable is the microphone's sensitivity. When I'm not even playing and say something at regular volume, my voice is heard for my husband's party or other gamers, even when I'm across the living room. I don't know how is this going to work later because I'm planning on getting another headset for myself in the future. (Maybe that can be changed? I haven't had enough time to check the set). --Well, it is true that you can put it on mute, but if you're excited playing you don't want to stop just for that.

good if you want to play or watch movies during the night without disturbing the rest of the family.

Note: If you have the HDMI cable and are getting these headphones, make sure you have the adaptor with audio OUT. :)

EDIT: 07/29/10 I'm returning this headset. The mic can't be regulated, it's extremely sensitive so other players are receiving this sizzling noise as background and my voice is heard broken. If there are two people playing, the second person is heard, the TV at normal volume is heard, etc. Not what we were expecting.
