Carrying Case
(2010-08-20)
Very practical, I can take it anywhere with me.I can carry it in my pocket or in my back pack. It conforms tightly to the shape of the device itself but does not smear the screen. I love it. I'm glad I bought it.
Too Tight for the Camera Model Named In It's Ad
(2010-05-07)
The title in the ad is misleading. The name on the front of the case says Esme, not Canon. There is a reason for that: it was not made for the Canon PowerShot A1100IS 12.1 MP Digital camera. It's too small for the camera that is named in its advertised title.
I might not have cared about it not being a Canon product were it not for the fact that I feel like I have to force my camera into it. To insert and extract the camera, I have to pull hard to get the mouth of the case open, and even then it only opens about one and a half inches. Then, in order to get the zippers closed, I have to press the sides too tightly over the front and back of the camera while the thick elastic sides of the case squish the top and bottom of the camera. (No matter which end of the camera I insert first, it doesn't help.)
Sure, it has a belt loop and rubber zippers and a belt clip, but so what! I'm very uncomfortable about what effect this tight fit might have on the camera's delicate buttons, lenses and viewfinder. In an attempt to make more room inside for the camera, I leave the wrist strap hanging out between the zipper closures.
Even weirder, there is a mesh pouch inside the case. What am I supposed to store in the pouch when I can barely fit the camera itself into the case? All the mesh pouch does is take away more space from the camera.
Adding insult to injury, Amazon has dropped the price from $17.19 to $12.21 since I bought this fraudulent "Canon" accessory. Even the new price is too much.
Do yourself a favor and buy from a camera shop where you can test and see the appropriateness of a case for your camera.
Super Deal

The best buy I've made in along time. quality construction with a double stitched belt loop. A snap ring on the back allows hanging anywhere. My Powershot fits perfectly in the semi-rigid case. The rubber tabbed zippers is a nice touch. Great value!
Good price, high quality

Love that I can clip it on to a belt or bag too. The double zip makes it easier to get the camera out without fussing a lot. Also like the toughness of the case for camera protection as it is a hard case, yet compact.
Great Camera Case

It fits my Canon Powershot A1100 IS perfectly. It is very, very sturdy and will defenitely protect my camera. I highly recommend it.
