These shoes really feel good on, but I will tell you that the Shape ups take a while to get used to. I always had to wear steel-toe boots for work and I'm trying to correct some damage those boots may have done to my hips and legs. I'm slowly learning to wear lighter-weight shoes and the Shape ups force you to keep your weight balanced. They are a great help when walking for longer periods of time.

Excellent, does everything it claims, but sometimes, depending on the where uyou are walking, it comes out at the heel...

I really really liked these right off the bat. In less than a week I already ordered a pair of shape ups sandals. I did not experience any soreness at all. I feel the improvement in my posture and generally feel better all over after walking in them.
I am careful when I have to walk in gravel. I did order up one half size and I'm glad I did.

These shoes are a purchase that I am very happy with - as far as the claim that it feels like walking in sand on the beach - it exceeds expectations - they are very comfortable, cramps in my feet have disappeared, and as a result - I walk and exercise more. As far as getting shaped up, I am still working on it, but I am losing weight and feeling better. I have just gotten these, but early indicators are good!
