My Daughter's Pacifier
(2009-05-29)
My 5-year-old daughter was given this cat as a gift for Christmas about two years ago. Ever since then, it is like her security blanket. She takes it with her everywhere she goes. We have had a couple of scares where she almost lost it, but luckily someone will find it or turn it in at the park or the movies. The poor cat is so worn now that I have to buy a new one. I told my daughter that I will be taking Kitty to the salon soon! I would reccomend these stuffed animals for anyone.
Great Little Kitty

This is a great little cat! The website is a lot of fun for my 9 year old daughter and she gets to actually play with the kitty online.
New kitty in the house!
(2008-08-18)
This kitty came to live with us last Valentine's day. Since we have three daughters, she brought along two friends... Russ Berrie Shining stars frog & Russ Berrie Shining stars horse We were away from home that Valentine's day and used our laptop to access the online features. Truly, although educational, the children just enjoyed the animals more than the website. The novelty wore off quickly, but they still play with the stuffed animals.
Naming your own star is "Cool", to the young and old.
(2008-01-07)
I purchased two sets of the same shining star animals by accident, so my 19 year old used the tabby cat as a gift in a gift exchange game at a college student Christmas party. It was a hit and even the "older young people" were fighting over it. Who wouldn't want to name their own star? Plus, I gave the other tabby cat to my daughter who is six. She is now asking questions about the stars and space. Who knew it could be fun and educational.
