The Lightening Thief (2010-07-30)
If you like adventures then you will like this book. It takes place in New York, present day. The main character, Percy Jackson, is half man, half god, but he doesn't know it. I like this story because it teaches you greek mythology and it is full of adventures. In the beginning of the story, Percy's life starts to get weird and he keeps blowing up school equipment. zeus thinks Percy stole his lightening bolt, and that is a problem! Grover, his best friend/secret protector saves him many a time. In the end, Percy becomes more understanding and brave. I like this story and I am sure you will too!

Best Series since Harry Potter (2010-07-29)
Rick Riordan is an amazing writer. This series is my favorite since Harry Potter! I can't get enough of it!!

Saw the movie and like it so I ordered this book set with Book 4 & 5 and used the free SUPER shipping. It arrived at my door 5 days after I ordered. Almost finished book 1 - better than the movie, of course. Don't need to be kids or young adult to enjoy this.

Harry Potter wanna be (2010-07-12)
I read this book because I loved the harry potter series and I knew that this was the same genre. What I did not know is that it was just a poorly written photo copy. It seems like the author grabbed the harry potter series and tried to re-write it for a 3rd grader. It would have been one star but I finished the book and was mildly entertained by it. I started reading the second book in the series and gave up 20 pages into it.
